Gamma Donna (I)

Non-profit Association whose purpose is tackling the issue of gender unbalance in Italy as a significant opportunity to increase GNP, as well as the quality of life in the workplace. From a functional standpoint –  besides acting as a platform for the development of innovative projects for gender [and generational] integration – GammaDonna acts as an informal “observatory” and “listening hub” of the on-going socio-economic processes through its nation–wide network. Its most relevant initiative is the Women & Young Entrepreneurs’ National Forum, an annual event which takes place since 2004.

AEBAN (E)
AEBAN is the Spanish Business Angels Network Association with more than 40 members representatives of the local sector in Spain. Launched in 2008, it promotes Business Angels activity in the country.

Foundation INCYDE (E)
INCYDE is an organisation created in 1999 by the Chamber of Commerce of Spain to promote and train people on business creation, improve business people and create new company.

CEEI Asturias (E)
The Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovacion CEEI Asturias provides support to entrepreneurs with a wide range of high-quality services, covering information, training, assessment, and financing to help entrepreneurs throughout the set up process of successful business initiatives.

International Women’s Network (UK)
The International Women’s Network is an elite professional networking and socialising community across the globe catering to events designed to enhance career progression by providing tools and resources to enable changes women wish to make in their personal and professional lives. Created in 2015, this network brings together like-minded professionals and has become the new and essential tool for building and developing professionals as well as personal relationships.

Yes for Europe – European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs (BE)
Is the main association of young entrepreneurs in Europe, representing around 40.000 young entrepreneurs under 40 years old. YES was launched in 1988 by seven national groups of young entrepreneurs in order to face the challenges resulting from the ratification of the Single European Act in July 1987.

Italian Angels for Growth (I)
IAG aims to finance industrial projects during early-stage presenting a high level of innovation and potential for success, to realise a profitable exit for the Angels in about 5 years. 120 members are part of Italian Angels for Growth.
Through the funding IAG supports entrepreneurship, innovation and research by helping to promote sustainable development in the long term. IAG promotes, through the Angel Investing, development of new business initiatives and economic growth; contributes to the success of the youngest companies exploiting the best talent and ideas; promotes economic growth and the creation of new qualified jobs.

Migration Hub Network (G)
The Migration Hub Network creates a platform for social entrepreneurs and organisations to co-design solutions around mass migration. Our network generates physical impact within communities and connects organisations across Europe. This fosters collaboration between actors in the public and private sector in order to transform the challenges surrounding mass migration into opportunities.

LeadingMyself (I)
LeadingMySelf is tells about women who, with their concrete example, support the right to gender equality in management, science and technology, sport, the arts, politics, in any field. This is not just a blog of women: men have also a leading role, for the common goal of claiming an inclusive leadership, because LeadingMyself also gives voice to all those are alongside women on this journey.

Metavallon (GR)
Metavallon is a social enterprise that provides early stage entrepreneurs with a supportive structure to develop, launch, and solidify their ventures. Metavallon works on the ground with budding entrepreneurs to build capacities and networks. Through three-tier program, The Lab – The Accelerator – The Hub, Metavallon seeks to empower talented aspiring entrepreneurs in Europe, expose them to experienced entrepreneurs, experts and investors, and provide them with the necessary resources to start and skyrocket their own businesses.

Startup Estonia (EE)
Startup Estonia is a governmental initiative aimed to supercharge the Estonian startup ecosystem in order to be the birthplace of many more startup success stories to come. For that, we are making Estonia one of the world’s best places to start a company, partnering with and uniting the best of startups, incubators, accelerators, private and public sector into one big successful Estonian Mafia family, a term that has become a recognised brand for the local startup community.

The WIN Conference (CH)
A pioneer in the field of professional women’s events and leadership journeys on a global scale WIN inspires leaders, to run companies and initiatives with noble values, and to fully live their own lives with beauty and enthusiasm.
With a creative and holistic take on traditional business topics, WIN has transformed and celebrated thousands of women and hundreds of companies. UN Empower Women (US)
At the Ottawa Conference, participants called for a dynamic platform to improve the sharing of evidence, experiences and good practices on women’s economic empowerment. In response, UN Women and Canada committed to jointly develop an online platform on women’s economic empowerment (www.EmpowerWomen.org). We are dedicated to empowering women to achieve their full economic potential by inspiring both women and men to become advocates, change makers and leaders in their community. We equip them with resources, opportunities and a global platform that facilitates networking, learning and sharing of experiences.

State of Women Institute / Women investing in Women digital (US)

Founded by Anu Bhardwaj, Women Investing in Women is the largest, integrated media company focused on global women’s issues, entrepreneurship, and investing. Our platform combines offline events, like our Global Summit Series and Private Equity Roundtables, with our digital properties, which include “The State of Women” Radio Network, our quarterly World Women Report, newswire and website in partnership with the State of Women Institute. Women Investing in Women has over 30 premier content and media partnerships, extending its reach to over 80 million, and recently exceeded 1 Million followers with over 1 Billion impressions across 120 countries across our various social media channels. Women INVESTING in Women Global Summits and Women in Private Equity Roundtables have already taken place in New York City, Stockholm, Johannesburg, San Diego, Scottsdale, Muscat, Singapore, Phoenix, Ankara, and Vienna.

Spanish Women Business Angels Network – SWAN (E)

SWAN, Women Angels Network. SWAN aims to strengthen Women Business Angels in Spain and to attract and train new women interested in becoming a Business Angel and thus promote the active role of women in the economy and entrepreneurship.

Business Angels Club of Lisbon (PT)

The Business Angels Club of Lisbon is a private non-profit association. The main objective to support potential entrepreneurs demonstrating the capacity to transform ideas into life projects, because the future belongs to those who do it!

Halo Business Angels Network (IE)

HBAN is a joint initiative of InterTradeIreland and Enterprise Ireland, dedicated to the all-island promotion of business angel investment. The HBAN umbrella group supports the early stage entrepreneurial community across the island of Ireland and actively works to increase the number of angel investors investing in early stage companies.  The all-island umbrella group works on a regional basis to support the formation of new angel networks and works with existing angel networks to develop their capability and capacity, and across a range of industry sectors. HBAN also acts as a voice to Government, stakeholders, business and the media to promote the interests and needs of the wider angel investment community. HBAN is managed by Dublin BIC in partnership with the regional Irish BICs in Cork, Galway & Waterford. HBAN works in partnership with Halo NI & Invest NI in Northern Ireland.

Innoban (E)

InnoBAN is a Business Angels Network founded in 2008. InnoBAN mission is to stimulate sustainable economic growth and employment by facilitating the meeting between Entrepreneurs and Business Angels.”
The main activity of InnoBAN aims to facilitate the meeting of entrepreneurs seeking investors for their project with investors willing to contribute their money, experience and contacts in exchange for a share in the capital of the company. The activity of InnoBAN has two other areas of action: training business angels and entrepreneurs in the different phases of the investment process and raising awareness and disseminating the importance of angel investment to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable economic development

Pink Sky Foundation (UK)

The Pink Sky Foundation is a not-for-profit company Limited by Guarantee. It was set up to deliver the wide range of work undertaken by Pink Shoe towards its aim of ‘Creating Positive Footprints’.

The charity’s objectives are: 1) To develop, support and encourage women and under-represented groups of all sectors, cultures, ages and backgrounds into executive roles in all areas of business, academia, the professions, industry, trades, the third sector, the arts, and public life. 2) To help women gain the skills, technology and networks they need to become successful in every aspect of the world of work and/or to hold public office, so that they may contribute to and have a strong voice in society. 3) To sustain and encourage the lifelong development of women and their inclusion in society. 4) To empower women through providing and highlighting positive role models from every sector of academia, commerce, industry and public life. 5) To carry out such other charitable educational and research purposes as the Trustees deem fit.

Gabriel Investors (UK)

Gabriel Investors is a group of business women running successful enterprises and who use their funds, connections and expertise to help entrepreneurs take their business up a gear.

We focus on helping small and fledgling companies grow. Financial help can take the form of equity investments or loans and range from £10k to £150k. Alongside investments, we use our years of combined knowledge, experience and connections to support you with practical business advice.

Austrian Angel Investors Association (AT)

The Austrian Angel Investors Association – short AAIA – is the private high-level network of successful entrepreneurs, investors and corporates in Austria. With strong partners, we raise awareness of alternative investments and connect experienced investors with those who want to be.

Luxembourg Business Angels Network (LU)

LBAN is a non profit association unlocking the potential of private investors in Luxembourg. LBAN’s mission is to give the appropriate tools to business angels in order to become better private investors and be more comfortable in doing investments.

Astur Valley (E)

ASTUR VALLEY, is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to create a favourable environment for the development of startups in Asturias by providing communication and advocacy efforts in order to promote collaborations among entrepreneurs from the Principality of Asturias.

ASTUR VALLEY began its journey with 15 associated startups: Wehey, Neosentec, Cuicui Studios, Neoalgae, Tech4Snow, beQbe, Karten, Betterplace, Blunder, Spyko, Aloha24, Creatorstats, Toptasting, Quiquilo and Ubiqware.

One of the main initiatives already launched by Astur Valley is the “Startup School”, the first school for startups in northern Spain which celebrated its first edition last Thursday 21 April in Gijon. After conducting a selection process with more than 30 innovative ideas , 7 startups were selected to join this pioneering program. These “future” Startups were: Entre Vecinos, Devhaven, Desert Corp, Findes.co, Payplay, Routive y Soy de Confianza.

Aika Ventures (E)

Aika is a company specialized in data analysis for the benefit of technology communities and startups. Aika also organizes new events such as CTO Summit, Legal Hackers Asturias or SaaS Mad. And helps others like Product Hunt Madrid and Startup Grind Asturias.

WeWomEngineers (I)

WeWomEngineers”, is a group of women, biomedical engineers, mothers, workers, students. Founded by the desire of two engineers and friends, Manuela Appendino and Gianna Nigro, WeWomEngineers commits to explain and spread our profession, to create a synergic network with colleagues, to discuss together with peers who work, manage their own family, implement a specific project. We are committed to disseminate news from the tech world, discuss about biomedical engineering topics and issues and make people understanding what it means being a biomedical engineer, in particular if you are a woman. Our aim is to support women, tell their stories, abilities, capacity and determination in daily life and in the engineering arena where, unfortunately, they still are not too much represented. 
We intend to support social projects enabling a personal growth but ultimately to improve the quality of life for those who need it that much.
