The aim of the WEs High-Level Coaching programme is to provide women entrepreneurs with basic skills in creating and managing their business. The scope is to increase economic opportunities for women entrepreneurs by supporting them in starting, growing and expanding their companies.
The goal of the coaching programme is to increase women’ self confidence as entrepreneur, to increase their knowledge on how to manage their business and to facilitate their access to capital, strategic for accessing and growing onto the market.

Our high-level coaching programme will be tailored to the specific needs of Women Entrepreneurs (WEs) according to specific goals and objectives

The training will guide you through the basics of entrepreneurship and how to successfully manage your enterprise, in particular a startup. 

The Coaching Programme is structured on 5 different webinars dealing specifically with the following topics:

  • Chapter 1 – Being a Women Entrepreneur
  • Chapter 2 – Understanding the investors
  • Chapter 3 – The perfect pitch
  • Chapter 4 – Be prepared for the deal
  • Chapter 5 – Now what? Working with an angel

The webinars will be also integrated with f2f meetings (2 in total) so you will have the chance to meet our Super-Coaches who will provide you personalized support and check with you the level of knowledge acquired.

A background in the marketing and advertising fields at WCJ (Young&Rubicam, now WPP group), she is committed to support young entrepreneurs, startups and companies to boost their growth and their potentials onto the market. She is focused on innovation (in business, in ideas, in people, etc.), this drives her passion, fully convinced this is a powerful lever for us progressing as human beings and ultimately as businesses. She believes in the outstanding power of networking and relations to create opportunities and for inspiring the change in most of the relevant social challenges our society is facing today.

Candace Johnson is a co-founder of SES, the world’s pre-eminent satellite group and the architect of SES Global. She is also the founder of various companies as Loral Cyberstar-Teleport Europe, Europe’s first independent private trans-border satellite communications network, and Europe Online, the world’s first Internet-based online service and a founding investor and Member of the Board of Kacific, the high-throughput Satellite Internet System for the Pacific.
Under her presidency of EBAN, she has co-founded MBAN, the Middle East Business Angel Network and ABAN, the AfricanBusiness Angel Network.
Ms. Johnson is also the President of three investment funds and is the founder of the Global Telecom Women’s Network (GTWN), Global Board Ready Women (GBRW) and the VATM, the German Association of Private Telecom Operators.
Ms. Johnson has been decorated by the Government of Luxembourg with the Commander of Merit and the Officer of the Oak Leaf Crown for her work in founding and building SES to become one of the world’s largest satellite systems as well as being decorated by the Federal Republic of German with the Officer of the Order of Merit for her role in privatizing telecommunications and media.

 

Ana Barjasic, EBAN EU Project Counselor

Ana Barjasic is the coordinator of Business Angels Week, an initiative created by European Business Angel Network, which became world’s largest initiative on promoting angel and early stage investment, with over 900 events in 60 countries since 2013. Ana is also EBAN’s EU Project Counselor. Ana created Connectology, which collaborates with different entities in the startup and investment ecosystem such as the European Commission and Global Entrepreneurship Network, on entrepreneurship and investment readiness projects. Connectology also invests into early stage companies.

Entrepreneurship, innovation and startups. These three topics excite Sara the most; she spends her days figuring out how to help manage, grow and market new ideas. She has experience helping startups with marketing, business and sales in a wide range of sectors ranging from tourism, education, videogames and more. With an international background, she also helps people think of their projects with a global scope, keeping scalability in mind.

 

Mari-Ann Meigo Fonseca, consultant/ project manager @ Tallinn Business Incubators (TBI)

Mari-Ann is a co-founder of a materials science startup Gelatex Technologies herself and now helps other entrepreneurs at TEI to achieve their goals. She was previously a garment technologist but holds also an MBA from the University of Tartu. She is good at helping entrepreneurs with defining their vision and building strategies; improving their pitch and also communication and marketing. Her main interest areas are ecoinnovation, new materials and fashiontech.

Kadri is an expert in design/fashion enterprises consulting but as a consultant at TEI helps also entrepreneurs from other fields to expand their businesses. She is a founder of women fashion wear distribution company in Estonia. Kadri is currently also an PhD student in business administration, focusing on cross-cultural business.

Ioannis Belegrinis, Head of Design & User Research, Starttech Ventures

Member of the Acceleration Team of Starttech Ventures, undertakes the Brand identity design & “implementation” for the incubated startups.
Studied Computing Science at Staffordshire University (UK), specialising in UX design for real-time systems. Has worked as a user interface designer at Hewlett-Packard (Germany), and as an ActionScript tutor at Anodos (Greece).
Since 2008 he has been busy with web design/development consulting.

Member of the Acceleration Team of Starttech Ventures, mastering the arcane arts of digital marketing and growth hacking. He holds a MSci in Physics with Space Science from University College London and a MSci in History & Philosophy of Science from Imperial College. He brings a strong combination of analytical and creative skills to the table. A Google Certified Partner since 2010.
